My Philosophy on Coaching
My philosophy on coaching is that at its core coaching is a relationship where the coach helps individuals clarify their goals, overcome obstacles, and create actionable plans to achieve personal growth. Through conversations and reflective questioning, a coach empowers clients to tap into their potential, make informed decisions, and live more fully.
My Background
With a deep passion for health and wellness, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others thrive—both personally and professionally. Holding a Master of Public Health degree, I spent years researching stress and coping at UCSF, exploring how positive affect can enhance resilience. My journey also includes over 15 years as a people manager, where I focused on the personal and professional development of my teams. After a decade in a high-intensity corporate role, I saw firsthand the challenges of balancing success with well-being.
Beyond my professional experience, I’ve embraced adventure—working as a ski instructor and kayak guide, finding inspiration in the outdoors, and navigating my own personal health challenges. This unique blend of research, leadership, and life experience has shaped my approach to coaching. I’m here to empower others to create fulfilling, balanced lives by blending evidence-based strategies with real-world wisdom.
My Approach
In my coaching, I help people clarify what in their life is draining their energy and creating actionable goals that allow them to feel more energized and alive. This can include cutting out habits and choices that are holding people back and creating new systems and ways of living where they feel like they are thriving.
